The Obama administration has made government grants for debt relief, available to qualified American taxpayers. Grants by definition, are funds that do not need to be repaid. Once the application has been approved, consumers receive a check, to payoff mainly, credit cards, defaulted student loans, personal loans, etc. This funding has been made available, to assist taxpayers who are behind on their bills or have ongoing financial concerns and restore their credit score rating. Individuals, 18 and over, are eligible for grants up to $12,000 dollars or more, must disclose income, total debt amount, identity verification documents, pay stubs and are allowed to use the services of grant writers, to properly complete their application.
Creditors, will continue to charge interest, late payment, maintenance, as well as over the limit fees, on accounts that are in arrears. Therefore it's imperative, to either negotiate with lenders to setup suitable payment arrangements or pay all outstanding debt, in full. The latter option is possible, if approved for a government grant. Once payments have been credited to all defaulted accounts, the credit bureaus will receive notifications from creditors, with regards to account status and make the necessary updates to your credit report. Your credit score will substantially increase, within three months.
There's no reason to continue being saddled with debt, if there are viable alternatives for taxpayers. The government as we all know, never advertises availability of free money. Although the system is setup on a "first come first serve" basis, funding is still available and applications are still being received. The process is not cumbersome, but all information does get verified. It seems in this case, the politicians got something right, for a change.
